Challenger High Yield Fund Withdrawal Offer - 23/04/2010
Cash levels within the Challenger high yield funds are currently at a level where a meaningful withdrawal offer can again be made. Challenger has announced a new withdrawal offer for the Challenger high yield funds and are offering 5% of all investors' units in the fund available for withdrawal. For those participating in the offer, this means that you will receive a maximum of 5% of your total unit holdings paid out as a withdrawal. The withdrawal offer opens Friday 23rd April and closes Friday 21st May 2010 (3pm Sydney Time). Clients should have received correspondence already from Challenger about the withdrawal offer. Focus will also be mailing out information letters and withdrawal forms to our clients with the Challenger investment holding. We are recommending our investors who are participating in the offer to please return their withdrawal forms to our office no later than Friday 14th May for processing. Important Information - Macquarie Cash Management Trust - 22/04/2010
At a meeting on 22 April 2010, Macquarie Cash Management Trust (Macquarie CMT) unit holders approved a Proposal to convert their investments in the Macquarie CMT into an at-call Cash Management Account (CMA) with Macquarie Bank Limited (MBL).
The conversion is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 31 July 2010. There will be no action required from investors holding a Macquarie CMT, the converson will be automatically implemented by Macquarie. The investor's Macquarie CMT BSB and Account numbers will remain the same for their new Macquarie CMA.
